About Double G Arabians

Hello everyone and welcome to our web site. We are the Glasener's: Russel, Debbie, Kassie, Samantha and Nathan. I (Debbie) have had Arabians most of my life and can't imagine life without them. Even when I lived in Myrtle Beach, SC I had our Arabian Mare from my childhood, Puddin Monet (Sar Ibn Monet x Dar Raf Neyna). She was a great mare and provided my daughter Kassie with her first Arabian experience. Kassie's twin sister showed a wonderful quarter horse her first year and had a wonderful time. Having twins meant having 2 horses that were the same, so Puddin was retired and we were on the hunt for horses. We found 2 wonderful black horses, EAR Star an Aladdin Grandson and FA Jovan Satin an Aladdin granddaughter. The girls showed these 2 horses in 4-H and at our State Fair and have always placed well.

A friend and I had made a trip out to the U.S. Nationals in 2001 and we went to visit Al-Marah Arabians in Tucson where I truly saw why I was in love with this wonderful breed of horse. I knew at that point this was the breed foe me. Great bone, attitude that said "look at us" and the most wonderful dispositions no matter which horse you were looking at, at the time, stallions, mares or gelding. Well to make a long story short I came home with 2, you know that twin thing again. They where given to the girls for Christmas that year. After having a long conversation with Mrs.Tankersley, she picked 2 mares for me to bring home, an exquisite Lea Baron mare AM Friskie Friend who has given us 3 wonderful moving and beautiful conformation and yes of coarse the best disposition that anyone could ask for. You can see pictures of them in our Photo section. Our other Mare is a Garcon Daughter AM Soft Spring. She has been a great mare and given us very good foals. AM Doteon Bonnie came along 2 years later and she is an Opalo daughter. We truly have a fine mix of Al-Marah bloodlines and look forward to many great babies to come.

Both of my daughters have had great success in the show ring. In such classes as Arabian Native Costume JTR 2005 Top 10 at Youth Nationals. Rumer Hazit a truly gifted and a loving horse that has taught Samantha the ways of the ring. Kassie has shown all of our babies in open halter or sporthorse in hand, and with Powerraid Dawning Sun in 2005 was Top 10 at Sporthorse Nationals in the 2yr old Jackpot class. With their successes they both are going on to have careers in the horse industry.

My son's idea of horse power comes from his love of 4-wheelers and he is a great asset to have around the farm. I could not run our Boarding and Breeding facility without my husband or my son. To them I am truly grateful. With having a 24 stall barn, a 200 x 60 indoor arena and 56 acres to take of, the men tend to be kept busy. With great boarders and the love of horses we have been blessed.
